Applications have opened for the TutorsLinks Educators Impact Challenge 2026, a nationwide online competition designed for tutors, teachers and trainers across Nigeria.
The initiative recognises educators who are creating meaningful impact through innovative and engaging teaching methods, while contributing to the development of future generations.
Applicants are expected to submit an original teaching video that demonstrates their ability to explain a useful concept clearly, accurately and engagingly. The video can focus on JAMB, WAEC, Adult Education or another subject area in which the applicant actively teaches or provides tutoring.
To qualify, applicants must be JAMB tutors, WAEC tutors, Adult Education tutors, trainers or teachers based in Nigeria. They are also required to demonstrate strong teaching quality and subject knowledge, present concepts with clarity and creativity, and show the ability to engage learners effectively.
The challenge has a total cash prize pool of ₦1 million. Ten selected tutors will each receive ₦100,000 to support their education impact.
The financial support is intended to help the selected educators advance their teaching initiatives, strengthen their educational work and broaden their impact on learners.
Applicants are required to submit an original teaching video demonstrating their ability to explain a useful concept in a clear, accurate and engaging manner.
