Airtel Africa Foundation offers Zambia tech scholarships in 2026

The Airtel Africa Foundation has announced scholarship opportunities for deserving Zambian students from low socio-economic backgrounds who are pursuing technology-related undergraduate degree programmes.

The merit-based fellowship is available to new entrants and first-year students admitted for the 2026/2027 academic year to eligible technology programmes at two participating public universities in Zambia.

To qualify, applicants must be Zambian students who completed Grade 12 in 2022 or later and obtained between 5 and 7 points at their first sitting. They must also demonstrate financial need and must not currently benefit from another scholarship or fellowship.

The Airtel Africa Foundation will fund the fellowship, while the participating universities will oversee the selection and verification of applicants.

Interested students have until 9 October 2026 to submit their applications.

The Foundation stated that information provided by applicants will be handled confidentially and used to determine their eligibility for the scholarship.
