The Mozilla Foundation is seeking exceptional innovators working on early-stage, unconventional or ambitious technological ideas that may struggle to attract funding through traditional channels.
The 2027–2028 fellowship programme will focus on eight thematic areas: neurotechnology, biotechnology and physical artificial intelligence (AI); advanced infrastructure covering computing, energy, quantum technology and extreme environments; raising p(bloom); business models for a post-agentic web; shared security and audit infrastructure for small organisations; sovereign AI, public infrastructure and maintenance; creative advocacy; and wildcard proposals.
The creative advocacy category will accommodate one Fellow.
