The Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Linyi Wholesalers Federation and TTC Hydra Limited in a move aimed at deepening bilateral trade and accelerating investment in Nigeria’s manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
The agreement was signed during the NACCIMA Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON 2026) held in Abuja. It establishes a framework for enhanced trade cooperation, investment promotion and supply chain integration between businesses in Nigeria and China.
According to NACCIMA, the partnership will provide its members with direct access to Chinese manufacturers and established supply chains. The association also said Nigerian exporters will receive support to expand their presence in the Chinese market.
In addition, the agreement is expected to encourage Chinese companies to establish manufacturing plants and undertake other long-term investments across Nigeria, further strengthening industrial development.
The MoU follows NACCIMA’s investment mission to Linyi City in Shandong Province, China, in April. During the visit, a Nigerian delegation led by the association’s Director-General, Sola Obadimu, held meetings with government officials and business leaders to explore opportunities for expanding trade and investment between both countries.
NACCIMA disclosed that the Linyi Wholesalers Federation, which represents more than 5,000 manufacturers and wholesale enterprises, had indicated its interest in setting up manufacturing facilities, overseas warehouses and exhibition platforms in Nigeria. Those commitments have now been formally captured in the newly signed agreement.
Under the partnership, the Chinese federation will coordinate the supply of products across several sectors, including building materials, agricultural machinery, automotive spare parts, construction equipment, renewable energy technologies, household appliances and electronics.
TTC Hydra Limited will support the implementation of the agreement by providing trade facilitation services and regulatory assistance.
At the signing ceremony, NACCIMA President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, alongside representatives of the Linyi Wholesalers Federation and TTC Hydra Limited, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the agreement.
