Humanity Empire Group (HEG) has announced plans to introduce AFRIQA, its flagship digital platform designed to strengthen Africa’s digital ecosystem by enabling seamless communication, financial transactions and business operations across the continent.
The integrated platform is being developed to serve as a unified digital infrastructure that allows individuals, businesses and governments to securely access a broad range of essential digital services from a single ecosystem.
According to HEG, AFRIQA has been purpose-built to connect Africans through financial technology, digital commerce, smart mobility, communication services, digital identity, artificial intelligence and social impact solutions.
Speaking on the initiative, HEG Founder, Prof. Christopher Chinedumuije, said, “AFRIQA represents our commitment to building digital infrastructure that empowers Africans to connect, transact, innovate and prosper.”
He added, “our vision is to create one trusted ecosystem where technology serves people, businesses and governments, driving financial inclusion, digital transformation and sustainable economic growth across the continent.”
The AFRIQA ecosystem combines several interoperable digital platforms, including:
- WayaWaya – Digital Wallet, Payments and Financial Services.
- OneMarkaet – Digital Marketplace for Businesses and Consumers.
- WakaWaka – Smart Mobility and Electric Vehicle Ecosystem.
- Aproko – AI-powered Messaging, Collaboration and Communication Platform.
- Afriqa ID – Digital Identity and Verification Service.
- Afriqa AI – Intelligent Digital Assistant and Artificial Intelligence Services.
- Afriqa SP – Humanitarian, Social Protection and Government Digital Service Platform.
HEG disclosed that the rollout will take place in phases, beginning with selected flagship services before expanding to additional digital products and strategic collaborations across Nigeria and other African markets.
The company stated that interoperability, cybersecurity, scalability and regulatory compliance form the foundation of the platform’s architecture. This approach is intended to enable seamless integration with financial institutions, telecommunications providers, government agencies, merchants, software developers and other technology partners.
Beyond delivering digital services, AFRIQA is expected to promote innovation, strengthen entrepreneurship, improve financial inclusion, accelerate digital commerce and generate employment opportunities throughout Africa’s expanding digital economy.
To support the deployment and long-term growth of the ecosystem, HEG said it is working with strategic partners across the banking, payments, telecommunications, mobility, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence and government digital transformation sectors.
The company added that further announcements covering partnerships, pilot programmes and implementation milestones will be made in the coming weeks.
