JAMB, WAEC introduce one-off O’Level result verification fee to cut admission costs

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) have introduced a one-time N4,000 fee for verifying candidates’ West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and other O’Level results for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions. Under the new arrangement, candidates whose admissions are regulated and coordinated by JAMB will only need to verify their WAEC results once through the board.
