Schools have resumed classes in Ebola-affected parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), following a reversal of plans to keep institutions in high-risk areas on remote learning programmes. Authorities changed course after concerns emerged that extended reliance on distance education could leave pupils in affected communities academically behind other students.
