Segun Idowu Foundation opens 2026 scholarship to Nigerian pupils

The Segun Idowu Memorial Foundation Scholarship 2026 is now open to Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS) students in Nigeria.

The scholarship is aimed at students who demonstrate strong academic performance alongside financial need, good character, leadership potential and positive contributions to their school or community.

The foundation is offering a ₦1 million scholarship fund, with applications closing on October 15, 2026.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a JSS or SSS student in Nigeria.
  • Have a minimum 85% cumulative academic average in the last academic session.
