NCDMB, Zeconial train 50 participants in digital oilfield skills

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with Zeconial Global Investment Company Limited, has trained 50 participants in digital oilfield operations and data analytics in Lagos State.

The five-day intensive capacity-building programme was aimed at equipping participants with digital competencies required in the evolving oil and gas industry while helping to address the sector’s digital skills gap.

During the training, participants gained practical knowledge in digital oilfield architecture, production optimisation, real-time data monitoring, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making for upstream operations.

At the closing ceremony, Managing Director of Zeconial Global, Olawore Oladipupo, formally handed over the participants and praised them for their commitment, active involvement and willingness to learn throughout the programme.

Oladipupo encouraged the beneficiaries to put the knowledge acquired during the programme into practice, create value within the oil and gas industry and prepare themselves for emerging opportunities in the digital energy space.
