MultiChoice Nigeria is preparing to roll out refreshed packages for its DStv and GOtv platforms, with the company saying the changes will give subscribers more choice and flexibility in accessing entertainment content.
The company said it will release further information about the new packages in the coming weeks. However, MultiChoice has not disclosed the names of the packages, their channel line-ups or pricing.
According to the company, the refreshed packages are being developed with customers’ viewing preferences in mind. The objective is to provide subscribers with more options for tailoring their entertainment experience.
The changes will apply to both DStv and GOtv, although MultiChoice has yet to announce a specific launch date for the refreshed packages.
In the meantime, subscribers on the platforms can access three refreshed M-Net Movies channels that were launched on September 17, 2026.
The channels are M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars and M-Net Legends.
MultiChoice said the three channels replace the previous four-channel M-Net Movies offering. The revised structure is intended to reduce repeated content and create greater differentiation among the movie channels.
Programming on the channels will include films from international and local studios, covering newer releases, older favourites and movies spanning different genres.
In a separate update to its DStv offering, MultiChoice has added two channels to the platform: SuperSport Kick-Off and France 24.
SuperSport Kick-Off will focus on football programming, while France 24 will offer international news coverage, including reporting and analysis on Africa and global affairs.
The two additions are part of the latest changes being made to MultiChoice’s television offering in Nigeria.
The company said subscribers can expect more information about the refreshed DStv and GOtv packages in the coming weeks.
