The role involves practical support for programme activities, including food distribution exercises in Sokoto and health screening events in Kaduna. Volunteers will help ensure these activities run smoothly, with deployments determined by the foundation’s operational needs.
Successful volunteers will assist with setting up event locations, supporting operations during activities and packing up afterwards. They will also help register community participants, provide guidance to attendees and support programme teams with logistics, stock handling and crowd management.
Other responsibilities include maintaining attendance records, documenting items distributed and complying with applicable health and safety guidelines throughout events.
The foundation is looking for candidates who are physically capable of assisting with event logistics, punctual, dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team. Applicants must live in or be able to travel to their assigned deployment locations.
Previous experience supporting community events or distribution activities is an advantage. A valid driving licence may also be useful for certain locations, although it is not listed as a mandatory requirement.
The volunteer opportunity is flexible and involves on-site programme support across various locations in Nigeria.
Interested individuals are encouraged to complete the foundation’s volunteer registration form and provide information about themselves. The organisation will contact applicants when preparations are underway to mobilise volunteers.
