2023 Taiwo Bankole Prize for young Nigerians

Taiwo Bankole Prize is aimed at Supporting two young persons (one male and one female) from low-income families resident in Ajegunle to acquire a university education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Law annually. 

This Prize is in honor of Taiwo Bankole Ogunyemi, Who dedicated his life to positively impacting the lives of young people and had a mission to change the world.

Application Process

In the second quarter of every year, Paradigm Initiative will call for applications where the people who met the eligibility criteria below will apply.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be between 17 and 25 years of age.
  • Must be from a low-income family.
  • Must have secured admission into a public university in Nigeria to study a course in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Law.
  • Must be a resident of Ajegunle.

Application Instructions and Requirements


Please review these quick instructions before you begin your application. 

The Application deadline is 30th September, 2023.

Fields with a red asterisk (*) are required and must be completed.

In this application, you will be required to upload the following documents:

  • SSCE certificate
  • Jamb result
  • Admission Letter
  • Identification Card (NIN, International Passport, Voters card, Drivers License).

Also, you will need to upload two letters of recommendation. Your recommenders must include at least one individual who taught or supervised you in secondary school (i.e teacher, or principal), and one Ajegunle community stakeholder that can testify about your personality.
