IDF is the leading source of scientific and technical expertise for all stakeholders of the dairy chain. Since 1903, IDF has provided a mechanism for the dairy sector to reach a global consensus on how to help feed the world with safe and sustainable dairy products. A recognized international authority in the development of science-based standards for the dairy sector, IDF has an important role to play in ensuring the right policies, standards, practices, and regulations are in place to ensure the world’s dairy products are safe and sustainable.

IFAJ is pleased to collaborate with the International Dairy Federation (IDF) to support the participation of jury-selected IFAJ members in this exciting global dairy sector summit. IDF will pay for some combination of airfare, registration, ground transport, hotel, and meals for the journalists/communicators selected. IDF will also provide free registration and online sessions for others.

The IDF World Dairy Summit will provide for the following:

For 2 IFAJ members outside of North America: airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meals, and registration to the event in Chicago.
For 2 IFAJ members from within North America (USA, Canada, Mexico): airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meals, and registration to the event in Chicago.
For 5 IFAJ members from anywhere: ground transportation, hotel, meals, and registration to the event in Chicago.
For others attending in person: free registration.
For others attending online: free registration.
Participants must be members in good standing of an IFAJ member guild.

IDF World Dairy Summit
The International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit brings together approximately 1,500 participants from all over the world.

The participant profile includes CEOs and employees of dairy processing companies, dairy farmers, suppliers to the dairy industry, academicians, government representatives, etc. The summit is composed of a series of scientific and technical conferences and tours.

October 15 – Opening Ceremony & Dairy Research Panel

October 16 – 19 – Conference and technical sessions, also innovation awards, and gala dinner.
