Ghana youth agribusinesses invited to pitch for US$10,000 grants

Young entrepreneurs in Ghana’s agricultural sector have an opportunity to secure up to US$5,000 in grant funding through the 2026 BRIDGE-in Agriculture Pitch Competition, which offers a total prize pool of US$10,000 to support business growth.

The competition is organised under the BRIDGE-in Agriculture initiative, funded by the Mastercard Foundation and implemented in partnership with CrossBoundary Advisory and ASH Africa.

The programme aims to strengthen agricultural businesses, encourage job creation and widen economic opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

Three businesses will receive grants, with the funding distributed as follows: US$5,000 for the first-place winner, US$3,000 for the second-place winner and US$2,000 for the third-place winner.

Successful applicants can use the grants to finance working capital, purchase equipment or expand their businesses, subject to the programme’s grant conditions.

  • Must operate a business within Ghana’s agricultural value chain or an adjacent sector.
  • Must have an existing revenue-generating business model.
  • Must present a clear, impact-oriented action plan.

The initiative also places emphasis on increasing economic opportunities for young people, particularly women and persons with disabilities.
