- Applications are now open for the DHL Gen Z Programme 2026/2027, a 12-month internship initiative designed to equip young South Africans with practical workplace experience at one of the world’s leading logistics companies.
The programme targets ambitious, driven and enthusiastic young people who want to launch their careers through hands-on training, professional development and exposure to a global business environment.
More than a traditional internship, the DHL Gen Z Programme offers participants the opportunity to gain real-world experience while developing essential workplace skills. Interns will work alongside industry professionals, contribute to meaningful projects and strengthen their career prospects within an organisation recognised worldwide for innovation, operational excellence and its commitment to people.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 25 years old
- Have recently completed Grade 12/Matric
- Hold a post-matric qualification (Certificate, Diploma or equivalent)
- Have no prior work experience
- Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Have good numerical ability
- Be proficient in intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Show enthusiasm to learn, grow and contribute
- Have not previously participated in the YES Programme
