The Carbon Accelerator Programme for the Environment (CAPE) has revealed that the Gashaka Gumti project has been selected, as one of four in its first cohort from over 100 applicants in 28 African nations, to get project feasibility and development support. Gashaka Gumti is Nigeria’s largest biodiverse park, covering 600,000 hectares, and it contains one of West Africa’s last intact montane rainforests.
