Nigerians emerge top performing students in Digital SkillUp Africa program

Patrick Abiola, the founder of Rictan, has been recognized as one of the Top Performing Student, among other Nigerians, in Product Management Program track of the Digital SkillUp Africa (DSA) organized by The Incubator Hub Nigeria.

Abiola graduated among the Top 3 graduands of the intensive three-month course.

According to the organizers of the program, the Digital SkillUp Africa (DSA) Initiative is a transformative program designed to empower 350,000 African youths with future-ready digital skills and increase digital literacy across the continent.

“It aims to bridge the digital divide, enhance employability, and foster economic growth through high-quality training, mentorship, and job placement opportunities”, the DSA initiative website states.

The program, covering product ideation, strategy, execution, and analytics, challenged participants to think critically and apply real-world solutions to pertinent challenges. Abiola’s consistent performance, creativity, and leadership earned him this distinction.

Having transitioned from operations into tech, Patrick reflected:
“The DSA program was a transformative experience. I’m grateful to my facilitators and colleagues — their guidance and support made this achievement possible.”

As the founder of Rictan, Patrick continues to drive innovative career and HR solutions. He is now open to new opportunities in Product Management, eager to build impactful products and contribute to the tech ecosystem.

“About 100,000 students registered and started in different courses across Africa but 26,000 graduated, it’s a privilege to be a part of this amazing experience and also emerger as top performer in my class”, Abiola said.

As the founder of Rictan, Patrick continues to drive innovative career and HR solutions. He is now open to new opportunities in Product Management, eager to build impactful products and contribute to the tech ecosystem.
