Coscharis Technologies, a subsidiary a subsidiary of the Coscharis Group, has announced it’s plans to execute a $4bn renewable energy project, the largest in West Africa.
This is a part of the efforts to revolutionize Nigeria’s power sector, with a focus on solar energy and sustainability.
According to Coscharis Technologies, this project, the largest green energy initiative in West Africa, will focus primarily on solar power to reduce Nigeria’s reliance on fossil fuels and contribute to global climate goals.
The Managing Director of Coscharis Technologies, Dr. Sunday Mukoro, highlighted that the project will deliver clean, solar-powered energy solutions, promoting both environmental sustainability and energy independence for Nigeria.
He emphasized its role in addressing the country’s energy infrastructure challenges while mitigating climate change.
The project will also provide financial support to Nigerian entrepreneurs and businesses, allowing them to overcome power challenges and grow.
Initially, the focus will be on government entities, banks, manufacturing firms, and SMEs, with plans to extend benefits to individuals and residential communities.
The initiative was finalized in Delhi, India, aligning with Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable development.
